First Candle is governed by an elected, all-volunteer Board of Directors consisting of individuals who are committed to the mission of the organization. We are pleased to have an exceptional, highly-motivated team of board members guiding us as we move forward in our efforts to help babies survive and thrive.

First Candle also employs a group of highly-qualified and dedicated staff members who report to  the board and provide the oversight, management and administration of our various programs and services.

With the additional support of our Emeritus Board and Leadership Council, we are working toward a future where all babies survive and thrive.
