Our goal this year is to raise $100,000 to support the important programs and services at First Candle . . . in the belief that every baby should live. We hope you will consider helping us reach this goal by becoming a Sponsored Walker. It’s easy!

Step 1: Register as a sponsored walker
At the end of the first registration page be sure you set up a user name and password – this will be how you create your personal fundraising page to track your donations! After you complete that first page (including the waiver box) you will be directed to the next page.

On this page, make sure you check Yes on the drop down box for Sponsored Walker for each attendee that is collecting donations; or, if you are collecting donations as a team, only check Yes for the first attendee. Complete registration.

When you have successfully registered you will receive a notification that includes the link to the log in page so you can create your team page and start collecting donations!

Step 2: Click on the URL provided at the end of the registration process. Once you log in, select “Team Fundraising” from the “What would you like to do?” drop down box in the upper right corner. The next page says “Team Fundraising” – click on “Create New Team”.

• Enter team name (required)
• Enter description (not necessary)
• Campaign (click on Luke’s Rock N’ Stroll II from the drop box)
• Click the “Create” button

The next page shows you your team name. When you click on your team name, you will be taken to a page where you can add your own copy or photos and select your campaign goal. This is an important step!

• To set a dollar goal that will show up on the thermometer on your page, click on “Set” under the “Goal” header
• To add content or photos that you would like your friends and family to see using the online editor, click on “Edit” under the “Action” header

Once this is complete, the system will show you the URLs to both your campaign page and the donation form. You can check to make sure everything is set up the way you want it to be – this is what your friends and family will see when coming to your page.

Step 3: Let your family, friends and neighbors know! On your thermometer you and your visitors will have two options:

• Click on “Tell My Friends” to send a link to your page to as many email addresses as you like
• Click on “Give Now” to go directly to the donation page

To edit your page at any time, just log in from the First Candle home page at www.firstcandle.org. Anyone can link to your page on the Sponsor a Walker page.
