The Grammy-award winning group Los Lonely Boys has joined forces with New England based HDM Custom Vehicles in support of efforts to prevent Sudden Infant Death Syndrome (SIDS), our nation’s leading cause of death for babies one month to one year of age. HDM has resurrected and custom designed a classic 1957 Chevy that will make a brief tour around the U.S. to stimulate interest and support for the cause.

Coined the “Los Lonely Boys Express”, this classic one-of-a-kind vehicle will be sold through a public or private auction with the proceeds being donated to support the research, education and family support programs at First Candle. The model, engine and color scheme were personally selected by the band, meant to reflect the group’s unique persona and dedication to helping families recover from their loss.

Grammy awards aside, the three young men of Los Lonely Boys (Henry, JoJo and Ringo Garza) have not forgotten their roots or their passion for making a difference, on stage and off. They all exude a palpable pride in making a difference and setting a responsible social example, especially by supporting a cause so dear to their heart - SIDS education, support and research.

“Our goal with this vehicle,” says HDM co-founder John J. Jeannetti, “is to raise well over $100,000. It won’t be hard for a one of a kind vehicle like this to help First Candle make a real impact.” Together with partner Steve ‘Hoss’ Giannetti, HDM Custom Vehicles believes in encouraging the human spirit to thrive, and are pleased to present ‘Los Lonely Boys Express’ as the first of many humanitarian outreach activities.

Stay tuned to the First Candle web site for final details on how you can own this classic, street-legal hot rod!
