This on-going, comprehensive nurse continuing education initiative provides guidelines to inform pediatric, obstetric and neonatal nurses about the importance of infant safe sleep practices in preventing SIDS, suffocation and accidents during sleep.

It is the ultimate goal of the campign to ensure that every parent leaving a hospital is aware of and prepared to adopt  safe sleep messages as recommended by First Candle, the American Academy of Pediatrics and the National Institute of Child Health and Human Development.
